9/13/10 – Vibrant NDT Ltd is attending the 49th Annual Conference of The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing this week. With recent FAA approval of PCRT for turbine blade testing in the United States, and an ASTM Standard Practice (E2534) published earlier this year, business has been picking up.
8/11/10 – A team led by Vibrant Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Advanced Manufacturing Propulsion Initiative (AMPI) at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory.
7/1/10 – Vibrant Corporation announced that it has earned FAA approval for the inspection of JT8D 1st stage high-pressure turbine blades for exposure to excessive operating temperatures using Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT).
6/14/10 – Vibrant Corporation announced the addition of its newest Application Engineer, Tom Williams. He brings more than twelve years of experience in astrophysics research, equipment design, and construction.
5/6/10 – A team lead by Vibrant Corporation has won an Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I award. The project calls for demonstration of a system for evaluation of structural integrity on High Velocity Oxygenated Fuel (HVOF) coated landing gear components.
4/8/10 – A team headed by Vibrant Corporation has been awarded the second half of the Phase II funding for the Navy Small Business Initiation Research (SBIR) contract for improved non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of hybrid bearing rolling elements
3/24/10 – Vibrant Corporation, after a four-year effort in cooperation with Magnaflux and Dr. Surendra Singh of Honeywell, ASTM International has published ASTM Standard Practice E2534-10 for Process Compensated Resonance Testing Via Swept Sine Input for Metallic and Non-Metallic Parts.
2/12/10 – A Vibrant Corporation Team Proposal has been selected for award of an Air Force Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) involving hybrid bearing rolling elements.
